Sedu Your Long Hair into Style!

Long hair can be a crowning glory – but it can also be a pain to style and maintain… Drying it takes ages, simply because there's so much hair to dry!
The same goes for straightening. Many people with long hair say it takes them up to 45 minutes to dry and straighten – that's a big chunk of time!
Having direct heat on your hair for that length of time is bad news. Even using heat protection, over time you may end up with split ends and dry, straw-like hair.
Have you taken years to grow your hair long and now you're thinking of getting it cut short because of the time it takes to style or because it's in bad condition?
Stop: Before you make that appointment, you need to know about Sedu!
You may have already heard of Sedu – it's the new buzz word in hairstyling – and for very good reasons!
With Sedu you can halve that straightening time and these revolutionary flat irons are kind to your hair. Hair that you thought was way beyond help becomes shiny and smooth. Don't cut it – Sedu it!
As if that wasn't enough, Sedu doesn't just straighten your long hair to a glass-like shine – you can also Sedu curls, waves and flick-ups.
Once you have your Sedu iron, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
What is Sedu?
Sedu is an amazing hair iron that has ultra-smooth plates made from a new formulation. You may have already tried regular ceramic straighteners and found that they still leave your hair 'puffy'.
Sedu's plates are ceramic and Tourmaline which will give you silky, shiny hair in half the time of ceramic straighteners!
Extra benefits of Sedu...
- Because the plates are so smooth, Sedu won't pull or damage your hair. The Tourmaline in the plates releases negative ions when the Sedu is heated (six times more ions than ordinary ceramic straighteners!) These ions mean that there is much less damage to the hair cuticle so you get hair that is up to three times silkier than ceramic alone can give you!
- Your hair stays straight and sleek. You can stop worrying about it frizzing in humidity or rain!
- Sedu heats up in 25 seconds!
- Sedu is lightweight – under a half of a pound – and it has nine feet of cord for easy use.
- It has a variable temperature control which means it can be used on all types of hair – and it's especially good on color treated or ethnic hair!
- Using Sedu you can quickly and easily re-create a salon look at home!

Do you still want to cut your long hair?

Which of the two Sedu irons is best for my long hair?
The Sedu 1½ inch flat iron is best if your hair is shoulder length or long. It's also the best model for you if your hair is very thick or very curly.
Why is it called Sedu?
...because the makers believe that every woman has the right to be seductive!
How to Sedu your long hair
- Because the plates are so smooth, Sedu won't pull or damage your hair. The Tourmaline in the plates releases negative ions when the Sedu is heated (six times more ions than ordinary ceramic straighteners!) These ions mean that there is much less damage to the hair cuticle so you get hair that is up to three times silkier than ceramic alone can give you!
Tip: The products available for colored or permed hair are the most moisturizing.
Tip: Buy them from the same brand as these products are formulated to work with each other for the best possible result.
- Blot your hair dry with a towel – or wrap a towel around your head for a while. Don't rub it dry as this can lead to tangles and then your hair will break as you try and drag a comb through it!
- Put in a leave-in conditioner and a tiny blob of anti-frizz serum. Comb through with a wide-toothed comb.
Tip: Avoid brushing wet hair as it causes damage.
- Dry your hair with the dryer on a cool setting. Wrap the hair around a round, vented brush and always direct the heat from the roots down to the ends. This helps to close the hair cuticle and protects it from damage – less damage means more shine!
- Once it's dry, spritz on some heat protection and get ready to Sedu!
For beautiful, shiny, flat straight Sedu hair:

Using a comb, lift a 2 inch section of hair between the Sedu plates. Squeeze the handle to shut the iron and then glide it slowly through your hair. Go from the roots right down to the ends. Now look in the mirror in amazement! Is that really your hair? That's Sedu!
Tip: Don't forget to treat your hair to a
deep-conditioning treatment once a week – and say goodbye to bad hair days forever!
Have fun with Sedu!
Sedu is so versatile – you can create many looks from one basic style.
Create a funky flip out!
Wash, condition and dry your hair as before. This time, when you straighten, glide the iron down the hair until you get to the ends and then – still holding the hair in the iron – flip the iron up and hold for a few seconds to bring the hair up at the ends.
It's just as easy to flip under – just turn the iron under at the ends of the hair.
Tumbling curls and natural waves

Wash, condition and dry your hair as before.
Take a 2 inch section of hair into the iron, squeeze the handle to close it and then glide to the end.
Stop gliding and – still holding the end of the hair in the iron – wind the hair around the Sedu…for as far as you want the curl to go. Hold it there for a few seconds and then release.
Tip: If you want tight curls, take the hair gently off the iron and leave it to cool completely without touching.
If you want looser waves, take the hair off the iron and pull gently until the desired 'looseness' is achieved. Alternate the amount of pull for a natural look.
You could go all the way up to the roots – or just halfway up – it's up to you! Have fun and see how many styles you can create!
